A heating element is a crucial part of a traditional oven. Most ovens will have either a bake element or a broil element. The bake element is at the bottom, whilst the broil element is at the top. These elements are usually made from nickel-chromium or a similar alloy. Replacing these is fairly straightforward.

A broken burner can be frustrating as it limits the number of things that you can cook at any one time. Be it a gas or electric stove, a replacement burner is relatively easy to install.

Control knobs enable you to easily set and control your desired temperature. They get a considerable amount of use, so it is easy to see why they may need replacing. Some have numbers, whilst others have visual settings (e.g. one flame, two flames, etc.).
