There are two types of Heat exchanger that can be fitted on a boiler, the Main and the DHW heat exchanger. The main is available in practically all boilers and utilizations heat from the burner to raise the temperature of water inside the heating system. The DHW exchanger is only used on combi boilers and enables the heat to be switch to the hot water system leaving the main heat exchanger for the heating side.

This part is available in the Worcester range boilers including the Worcester 230 NG, 240 NG, 240 LPG, HIFLO 400 COMBI, HIFLO 400 COMBI.
