Burley

Founded in Oakham Rutland in 1975, Burley stoves and heaters are the world's most efficient and strongest built. To prove the point, they recently drove a T55 tank on top of them, while Burley's Steve Barson lay beneath. They expanded into the gas heater market in 1998, introducing flueless gas fires, then acquired Straxgas fires in 2005, Navitron solar water heaters in 2006 and Magiglo in 2009. Burley wood burning stoves were added to the line-up in 2010.

Within just a few years of their launch, Burley were the approved heating supplier to all fourteen electricity boards. Exports to France, Spain, Belgium, Malta and Italy soon followed. Burley stoves are a great British success story, built on quality components, fuel efficient designs and unequivocal commitment to clean and renewable heating solutions.

Environmental credentials are a leading reason for buying Burley. They produce the world's cleanest wood-burners and most efficient gas fires, have almost eliminated plastic waste and generate their own electricity. Burley wood burning stoves include the "Fireball", a ground-breaking advance in fuel efficiency and clean combustion inherited by the Burley Springdale stove and others. As well as the Burley Springdale stove, the range now includes the eco-ready Wakerley, Debdale, Brampton and a host of others.

Their flueless fires include the efficiency A-rated Esteem, wall mounted Latitude and fireplace-ready Acumen. The range of Burley gas, wood and electric fires is wide.

Another reason for buying Burley stoves is that they are genuinely British. Almost all components and materials delivered to the Oakham plant are from other British companies, local whenever possible. This provides superior quality control and guarantees a reliable supply of spares and parts for Burley appliances. We can supply the full range of Burley stoves, trims, fascia, handles, pilot assemblies and thermocouples.
