Anglo Nordic gas leak detector
Gas leak detectors are a vital tool for a range of different professionals. The majority are known as Combustible Gas detectors as these are the types of gases that they are designed to detect. Most are handheld, portable detectors.
There is also one type of Anglo Nordic gas leak detector that can be fitted to walls - these are useful in domestic settings, in offices, or in warehouses/factories where there may be gases present. These detectors are able to detect methane gas concentration (P11) and LPG concentration (P12), as well as other gases (even if the amount is beneath the lower explosion limit). They also have both visual and sonic alarms.
Anglo Nordic oil filter
The Anglo Nordic oil filter is an excellent alternative to the Crosland-style heating oil filter. It features a 10-micron particle filter that prevents contamination of the boiler. It is available in ?" or ź" connections, and is the only OFTEC-certified filter available on the market today. Other features of the filter include:
- Non-drip design - The Anglo Nordic oil filter features a unique non-drip design. This means that the securing bolt is able to be loosened without the oil flowing down the shaft. This protects both the engineer and the floor from any oil spillage.
- Compatibility - the filter is able to work with both fuel oil and bio oil (up to B35), meaning it can be fitted to more contemporary oil tanks as well as being added to existing older systems. The filter element can be easily replaced, without the need for any specialist equipment.
- Oil flow direction flexibility - to be effective, the oil in the filter needs to flow in the direction that is marked on the housing. If filtration in the opposing direction is required, a reversing bracket can be used. This bracket can be screwed directly into the wall, allowing the filter to then be mounted on the bracket that is facing the wall.
