Flavel
We supply commonly needed spares for Flavel ranges and heating appliances, including Flavel Regent gas fire radiants and spares for a wide variety of other models - old and new.
The history of Flavel is long and complicated. They began as an iron foundry in Bilton, Warwickshire and made the best cannonballs money could buy. In 1777 they relocated to Leamington (Spa) and diversified, producing the first range cooker ("Kitchener") in 1829 and also gained a reputation for deluxe fireplaces. They then expanded into Staffordshire and produced a series of very successful appliances like the Flavel Firenza radiant gas fire.
In 1974 things got complicated. Flavel were absorbed into the Glynwed group, then Aga Foodservice, then BFM who still produce Flavel heating appliances in Staffordshire. Meanwhile, the Leamington site passed to Rangemaster whose cookers are based on Flavel designs. However, Rangemaster became part of Aga, who were taken over by Middleby Corporation. Rights to the Flavel name were also acquired by Beko (Turkish company Arçelik) who use it on diverse appliances.
Therefore, not everything badged Flavel is by the same company but some parts are interchangeable with other brands. Highly requested items include Flavel Regent gas fire radiants, Flavel Regent radiant spares and Flavel Firenza radiant gas fire components.
