With their HQ in Denmark, Grundfos are the largest pump manufacturer in the world. They have almost 20,000 employees across 56 countries. They have an annual turnover of around £3billion and produce in excess of 16 million pump units each year - including circulator pumps, submersible pumps, and centrifugal pumps for domestic, industrial, and commercial applications. Grundfos have an excellent reputation and are known for using pioneering technology and engineering techniques. Sustainability and reduced environmental impact are core Grondfos principles, and the majority of their pumps are A-rated for energy and comply with the European EuP regulations. Many of the pumps feature intelligent technology such as liquid circulators ALPHA and MAGNA 1 and also include easy to use interfaces with push-buttons and the renowned Autoadapt feature that ensures constant optimisation. Their low noise-levels are an additional bonus. Grundfos Shower Pump range Grundfos produce several different types of shower pumps. The Watermill range are compact and simple to install and can boost water pressure by as much as 4 bar. The Amazon and Nile ranges are regenerative pumps, and the Danube and Niagara systems are centrifugal pumps. All Grundfos shower pumps are durable, safe and quiet. Grundfos Home Booster The Grundfos Home Booster is designed for domestic properties where the mains water supply lacks pressure. It is suitable for most domestic properties. The unit features a 200 litre storage tank and the pump is made from stainless steel - enabling it to deliver sustained, efficient, and quiet performance and to last longer. The pump on the Home Booster is controlled by the PM2 Pressure Manager controller. The Home Booster is a cost-effective solution that is self-contained and compact, but it is not recommended for use in a loft space. Grundfos central heating pump range Grundfos central heating pumps are mechanical pumps for circulating hot water around a central heating system. Grundfos central heating pump units are attached via valves to the system. Grundfos central heating products provide a comfortable, reliable temperature and ensure access to instant hot water. The ALPHA2 and ALPHA2 L ranges are circulator pumps that feature the Autoadapt control mode. The ALPHA2 L meets EuP legislative requirements, and both provide high levels of energy savings. The UPS and UPS2 are 3-speed circulator pumps (available in 50 and 60Hz models). They can be used in open or closed systems where there is limited space.
