Remeha Boilers

Founded in the Netherlands in the 1920s, the Remeha brand was started by Gerard Van Reekum. Initially selling bicycles, the company moved to become a supplier of appliances and parts for the heating industry before moving into the development and manufacture of their own cast iron boiler.

Proving that Remeha were ahead of the times, they looked into the development and production of super-efficient condensing boiler technology in the 1970s. This was prompted by the energy crisis of the late 1970s, resulting in the first commercial condensing boiler to be installed in the UK being a Remeha boiler.
