S&P coil products can roughly be divided into three categories depending on the type of heat transfer they're intended to work with: refrigerant, steam or water. Water coils utilise a copper tube matrix. Water passes through the tubes between two end plates that are arranged to allow perpendicular airflow.
Refrigerant coils consist of an SPC condenser and DX coils, making them suitable for most common refrigerants including R404a, R134a, R410a and R407c. They terminate with copper tails sized specifically for the number and capacity of circuits. Steam coils are designed to operate against pressure up to 8 bar g. They feature thick, 16mm copper tubes with heavy gauge headers. They're robust, strong and even come with flow drilled holes to ensure a stronger joint.

S&P Coils fan convectors are rugged, robust, and more than capable of handling the rigours of a school (or any other) setting. They come in four widths and a range of individualistic stylings suitable for any setting. The fan convectors can be used cased or exposed, or concealed/recessed. Switches and thermostats are fitted as standard and Belgravia Classic fan convectors offer up to 15Kw of heat.
