Satronic
Satronic is a trademark of Honeywell and specialises in control equipment for gas and oil burners. The range includes flame scanners, burner sequence controllers, damper motors, flame sensors, gas solenoid valves, electro-hydraulic actuators, pressure switches, multiblocs & gas trains, oil & gas filters, oil burner nozzles, ignition transformers, burner fuel pumps, combi stats, ignition cables, and ignition electrodes.
Satronic has several ranges of equipment on the market.
Satronic DKO
The Satronic DKO range of oil burner safety control boxes have been designed for use in oil burners with throughputs of up to 30 kg/h. They are programmed to allow stable timings irrespective of ambient temperature, voltage variations, or switch-on cycles. The control box itself is designed to maximise safety, and if the mains voltage drops below the allowed level, the control box prevents the start sequence from being repeated.
The Satronic controller incorporates the microprocessor based timer, flame check, and reset circuits.
The information system monitors the programming sequence and is also capable of identifying errors during start-up. This automatically-performed diagnosis tool facilitates service/maintenance work and thus saves costs. The information system communicates using a special flash-code and messages can be recorded.
When it comes to flame control, the following detectors can be used for flame supervision. For yellow oil flame: the photoresistor MZ 770 S (side-on and end-on viewing). For blue or yellow flame: infrared-flicker detector type IRD 1010 or the UV solid state flame sensor UVD 970.
Satronic DKW
The Satronic DKW range of oil burner safety control boxes are suitable for oil burners with or without preheater, with throughputs exceeding 30 kg/h. They meet the applicable European standards and regulations. The DKW 972 is suitable for 2-stage operation, without terminals for oil and the DKW 976 is suitable for 2-stage operation, with terminals for oil preheater and with override contact.
Satronic 832.3
The Satronic 832.3 oil burner safety control box is capable of controlling and monitoring oil power burners of up to 30 kg/h capacity. The Satronic 832.3 can be used on 1 or 2-stage oil power burners. The Satronic controller box circuitry inside the controller is protected by a transparent and flame resistant plastic housing.
Satronic MZ770S PhotoCell
Burner ignition flames are monitored using a photo cell. This part is found within the burner section. The Satronic MZ770S Photo Cell is compatible with a number of products including Ecoflam, EOGB, and Nuway boilers.
Satronic TMG 740-3
The TMG 740-3 burner control box is capable of controlling and monitoring medium to high performance forced draught and dual fuel oil/gas burners in single or two stage versions. It can be used, for multi-stage or modulating operation with burners of any nominal rating as well as in direct air heaters. A special version is available for operation with ignition spark monitoring and the TMG 740-3 is fully interchangeable with the earlier versions.
